6 months ago I like many others would have expected to be writing the headline PS3 Stock Stortages at some point. However so far all the major retailers are still taking orders for their initial stock allocations. Compared to the Wii, which sold out in 7 minutes on Amazon PS3 is taking time to come off the shelves.

Most blame the high retail price and the effect of the Nintendo Wii’s unexpected market penetration. The battle of the next generation consoles has become a whole load more interesting! With 3 active competitors the future could see some exciting new devoplments.
